This feature-length documentary dives into the lives of local members of the Transgender Community living in St. Catharines. It's a documentary that will help break down some of the barriers that still exist. It promotes dialogue about trans issues, as well as issues faced from those who love them - their friends/partners.Revealing the Unfamiliar, follows seven individuals in this sit down open and honest look into their lives. Four of the individuals are from the trans community - three transmen (Jay, Tyler & Michael) & one trans woman (Roberta) and their allies (Lori, Carrie & Sarah). They discuss the major steps in their transition and what their allies have faced along side of them. |
